My favourite Anton Smit Sculptures
There are many sculptures made by Anton Smit. Here are some of my favourites:
Wall of Revelations
A monumental sculpture wall on the theme of Revelations (2008), the last book of the New Testament.
The epic art wall is populated with entwined figures who struggle in the grip of powerful emotions
Open Arms
Whirlwind
The saying “one hand washes the other” emphasizes how reciprocal cooperation can benefit both parties. It’s similar to proverbs like ‘one good deed is rewarded with another and ‘you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.’
